How to get XRD?

You can purchase XRD, Radix’s native token, on centralized exchanges, the first of which is Bitfinex. You can find the latest status on where you can buy XRD on the Radix DLT website.

Please note that XRD is required to purchase Proto-NFTs on Radix.
You will also need to have a desktop wallet to make transactions and hold the token you receive in return.

The Ethereum wrapped version of XRD - eXRD, can be purchased on centralized & decentralized exchanges. While eXRD tokens cannot be staked or used to participate in Radix Community Projects, they can be swapped with the native XRD tokens at a 1:1 ratio. This can be done through Instabridge.
